Use your printer regularly this will help avoid clogging of the printhead. If you don't use your printer very often try to do a print of something once a week, it is worth using that little bit of ink as it will keep the printhead in tact.

When a cartridge with an integral printhead is not being used or has just run out of ink try to store it in the clip provided with our refilled cartridges.

If you do not have a clip then a plastic sealy bag can be used for the black. The colour is best stored in a small plastic tuperware box because all three colours come out on the same printhead and can become contaminated if it is left with the plastic against it. For this reason DO NOT put the tape supplied with the colour cartridge back on the printhaed once the cartridge has been used.
